In Germany, a temple will be opened where you can bid farewell to your domestic animals

 The company providing animal burial services, Schönhalde Tierbestattung, will open a temple in the small German town of Albstadt-Pfeffingen where you can say goodbye to deceased pets, schreibt die Deutsche Welle.

The idea to create such a church belongs to the leaders of the company, Ellen Weinmann and Florian Düsterveld. According to their plan, the town will have a place for farewell ceremonies and requiems for deceased domestic animals.
To implement the plan, Weinmann purchased one of the two churches in the town that belonged to Protestant congregations and had not been used in recent years, which is why they were put up for sale. Currently, renovation work is being carried out in the temple. The first farewell ceremony for a domestic pet will take place in a few months.
